Paeonia Itoh hybrid 'Cora Louise' is a rare beauty, a hybrid between herbaceous peonies that die back in winter and woody peonies that retain their branches above ground. 'Cora Louise' boasts very large, semi-double bush peony flowers that fully open to reveal a center filled with abundant golden-yellow stamens and a light, delicate fragrance.

This variety is highly floriferous. The silk-thin petals start white, gradually turning light lilac-pink with carmine red spots at the base. It thrives in sunny, sheltered locations with nutrient-rich soil. While it usually freezes back completely, it grows into a medium-sized bush during the summer.
