Paeonia Itoh 'Berry Berry Fine' – Bare Root
Paeonia Itoh 'Berry Berry Fine' is a rare and unique variety, featuring single to semi-double blooms in shifting apricot hues with a plum-colored center. A beautiful detail is the dark veins that stand out on the petals.
It has a lovely fragrance reminiscent of summer berries. The stems are exceptionally strong and thick, and the dark green foliage adds to its appeal. A favorite among pollinators! Plant in deep, nutrient-rich, well-drained, but moist, lime-rich clay soil.
Blooming period: May-June
Height: Approximately 75 cm
Hardiness: Zone 4 (5)
Location: Full sun to partial shade
Size: 3-5 eyes
If you can't plant it now, place the tuber in a plastic pot. The soil should be slightly moist, but no watering during winter. Place the pot outdoors by a wall under cover, or in an unheated shed/storage. In April-May, the peony can be planted in the garden.
Autumn planting: Dig a hole at least 50 cm deep and wide. Mix compost or rose soil with existing soil and add Zetas bulb fertilizer. Place the root at an angle with the buds facing up and cover with about 5 cm of soil. Water thoroughly.
Pairs well with
Zetas lökgödsel
