Daucus carota 'Dara'
Daucus carota 'Dara' is a flower that looks fantastic when woven into flower beds with other flowers. It is also an excellent companion to other flowers in the mixed cut flower bouquet. This particular variety blooms in a mixture of colours in dark purple, pink and white. Some of the delicate lace-like flowers look like they have been dipped in a jar of paint. In many ways, this is a real mainstay of the garden and a must-have in the summer flowerbed.

Pre-cultivate the flower carrot in a tray with moist seed soil. Cover the sowing with a lid equipped with ventilation holes and place it warm. When the seedlings begin to emerge from the soil, you can bring the tray into the light. Transplant the seedlings into larger pots. Harden off and plant them out when the risk of frost is over. It may also be possible to sow the flower carrot directly at the planting site when the risk of frost is over, or in the fall for blooming next season.
